Boiling of the Sago potato pearls

1½ dl Sago pearls

6 dl water

10 g / 1 Tbsp vegetable broth powder

1 Tbsp cold pressed rapeseed oil
Vegetables

3 pcs carrots
-
200 g broccoli buds

2 pcs / 100 g onion

4 dl boiled Sago pearls

1 Tbsp cold pressed rapeseed oil

¼ tsp curry powder
-
¼ tsp ground black pepper
-
pinch of salt

Preparation
Sago potato pearls can replace couscous, rice or pasta. Sago-vegetable side dish can be served with fish, chicken, meat or as such as a vegetable dish.
Boiling of the Sago potato pearls
1. Bring the water to a boil and add vegetable broth powder and oil in water.
2. Add Sago potato pearls in while stirring.
3. Let the mix boil 8 minutes, stir it every now and then.
4. Take the mix off the burner and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Vegetables
1. Peel and cut the carrots, broccoli and onion into small pieces.
2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry first carrots and onions, then add broccoli. Fry them by turning around with spatula few minutes until the vegetables are semi done. Season with curry, black pepper and salt.
3. At the end add boiled Sago pearls mix with vegetables and heat it.
Tip! You may add e.g. fried chicken strips into this.
